Comments: King's Compass is a new home school group to the Putnam County area. We will be offering co-operative classes in the fall and the spring, field trips, special events, and monthly meetings. Co-op classes will last 6-8 weeks. Our goal for co-op is to effect a lasting social change in our children to be Christ like and a role model for the world. Our monthly meetings are the 2nd Thursday of the month at Greencastle Christian Church, 620 Primrose Lane, Greencastle. LEAH (Loving Education At Home)

Comments: This group meets the third Monday of each month at the Greencastle Presbyterian Church. It's a Christain group. They go bowling and skating every month, field trips most months, Spelling bees, end of year award dinner, mom's get together and more. We also share curriculum, offer moral support to the families, offer special free classes such as Classical music composers, sewing, Aerospace Club, Presidential Physical Fitness, BookIt, and Drama Classes. Our mission statement says we are a Christian group that promotes Christian education. Just show up at the Monday night meetings.

There are several good regional and statewide e-lists for homeschoolers throughout the state of Indiana. Because of the always changing nature of many lists, it's hard to keep up with them. If you are interested in finding a more specific or focused e-list, we suggest you search YahooGroups. You might also want to ask around on the IndianaHomeschoolers List for recommendations. IndianaHomeschoolers is the largest networking e-list in the state, and the best place to find answers to most all homeschooling questions.
