Answer 0401: I have a special needs child. Is there anyone I can talk to about how to homeschool him?

Joining the IndianaHomeschoolers e-list is always our best answer, as there are many homeschoolers with special needs children giving advice there all the time. But IHEN has also recently instituted a companion program to our County Contacts Program, called Special Needs Advisors.

You can write to one of our Special Needs Advisors any time you have specific questions about your child's needs. Your SNA will likely have a timely answer and a suggestion as to where you might get your help. All our SNAs currently have, or have had, special needs children of their own. We like to go with experience. :-)
