Answer 1302: Why am I suddenly getting tons of mail from you?

You've probably subscribed to one of our e-mail discussion lists. They are also called e-lists, mail loops, boards and subscription lists. An e-list is a way for many people to be able to communicate with each other all at once.

IHEN lists are all about homeschooling, and the statewide list, IndianaHomeschoolers, is the largest, most popular list in Indiana. If you aren't interested in receiving so many e-mail posts in your e-mail box, but still want to be subscribed, try setting your list to DIGEST mode. You will then receive up to 25 posts in one e-mail.

To set a YahooGroups list to digest, simply send a blank e-mail post from your subscribed address to: [listname]-digest@yahoogroups.com In the case of the IndianaHomeschoolers list, the address would look like this: IndianaHomeschoolers-digest@yahoogroups.com.
