Comments: Southeastern Indiana Christian Home Educators is a ministry of Christian families who come together to give and receive the support and resources that will more fully enable them to provide a home education for their children in which the Lord Jesus Christ is central and supreme. SEICHE operates as a unifying association for Christian home school groups which are made up of local group families. Both whole association and local group activities and functions provide the context for fulfilling the SEICHE mission. This includes monthly events such as: support group meetings, field trips, teen events, and other family activities; as well as annual events including: an Information Fair, Mom's Retreat, Graduation, Family Campout, and Orientation for new homeschoolers. A newsletter, e-group, and web site keeps members informed. Meeting locations are in Bright (Dearborn Co.), Brookville (Franklin Co.), Dillsboro (southern Dearborn Co.) and Sunman (Ripley Co.) with members in Dearborn, Ripley, Fayette, Franklin, Decatur, and Ohio Counties.

E-MAIL DISCUSSION LISTS

There are several good regional and statewide e-lists for homeschoolers throughout the state of Indiana. Because of the always changing nature of many lists, it's hard to keep up with them. If you are interested in finding a more specific or focused e-list, we suggest you search YahooGroups. You might also want to ask around on the IndianaHomeschoolers List for recommendations. IndianaHomeschoolers is the largest networking e-list in the state, and the best place to find answers to most all homeschooling questions.
