opportunities to volunteer

Homeschoolers are some of the most volunteerish people around. Here are some volunteer and internship opportunities we've heard of from around the state.

If you have a volunteer opportunity you want Hoosier Homeschoolers to know about, write to our Volunteer Staff to have your information listed here. Items with deadlines should be posted no later than two weeks before the event.

Meet some of the volunteers who help IHEN, help Hoosiers homeschool.

Student Opportunity : Volunteer at the "Toby"

Introducing the Toby! This fall, Indianapolis has a new venue for great cinema and must-see talks and performances.

The 604-seat Tobias Theater is a space to hear high caliber speakers from the worlds of art, architecture, design and other creative fields, along with a place for film - classic, quirky, international, documentary and more.

The IMA is now recruiting volunteer ushers to assist the public programs department in this new and exciting venue.

For more information or to fill out a volunteer application, please contact our Affiliate and Volunteer Services Coordinator at 317.923.1331 ext. 263.

The Indiana Code
Now in English! :-)

We took a crack at explaining the Indiana education code in words we can understand. It's not legal advice, but it's the best we can do. Read IHEN's Indiana Legal Code Document. We also added a new commentary on The Reporting Enrollment Issue. Both are available now on
